| I have used Webmasters.com since about 2002, and have only required help a few times. My last question was about finding my files which had been uploaded with FTP. Ryan gave a quick and easily understood response. Maybe I should blame myself for not properly using search. Surely the info is somewhere on your site.

| Service is always good however I have a request. Since you have no shell access we are required to do everything through your control panel. As I'm sure you know this is very tedious. Having shell access would really be great especially for file and database management and especially since your file manager has some serious limitations. The most serious limitation is the way the "copy" function works. It doesn't behave the same as a UNIX or dos copy and will not overwrite files but merely puts a "copy_of" in the directory. For doing upgrades it's useless.
Can I get shell access? If not can you PLEASE fix the copy command in your file manager. Thanks, Ron Curry |

| One of my concerns was how I was supposed to get the website to the internet. Frank at webmasters.com was very helpful when he explained the steps that I needed to take to use the FTP control button on the panel. Frank also demonstrated by how quickly our site would show the file immediately. I almost have the website ready to go, and I know that I will be able to successfully get the site up and manage it. Recently I had a small issue with FTP and Ryan resolved it right away after a single email. It really is a nice to be able to work with the same people year after year.
