|Just a quick note to say thanks to John DeSantis and your other admins.
I am doing the web admin duties for a small missionary group and they (we) have been having a lot of trouble with their current hosting provider (no names needed). They told me that they have recently had days worth of email go missing, constant site instability, and I have been unable to access their ftp site now for over a week.
When they called their hosting provider to discuss these issues, they said they were put on hold for 3 (you read that right THREE) hours before they had a human appear and "help" them with their problem. Not surprisingly, the problem still exists. Emails to their host often do not receive a reply for several days, or they only get automatic responses with unhelpful advice.
In comparison, the Webmasters.com admins are always quick to respond when I send in a trouble report. I usually have whatever problem that I have noted solved in under an hour.
When I told this missionary group about how the Webmasters.com admins handle problems, they asked if I would transfer their account over to you. I'm waiting for the domain transfer to go through right now, but when it does, I will be opening up another hosting account for this group.
So thanks again to John, Curran, J. Marquand, and the others in your support group. As this other hosting provider demonstrated, anyone can host a site; just plunk a server down and load Apache in. What sets Webmasters.com apart is how you deal with clients when they are having problems that makes the difference.
|I don't have a lot of experience working with HTML, and the support team at webmasters helped me set up a shopping cart. When my Front Page program changed the code for the cart, they explained what was causing an error in the cart, and even fixed the HTML for me. There aren't many problems with webmasters, but when there are, they offer fast and friendly service in resolving them.|

|I was worried when you had a hardware failure on server 44 today. One of my domains went down which receives a signification amount of traffic and serves and signification amount of advertising. Every Webmaster understands that hardware failure is almost impossible to prevent, but when it happens you want to know your sites come back online without data loss.
