| I have recently transferred a couple of domains and 3 websites to Webmasters.com. Naturally, there were a number of configuration adjustments that needed to be made during the switch; most I could do myself through the comprehensive control panel, some required adjustment by support staff and one looked to be impossible. However, the support staff were extremely helpful throughout and John DeSantis in particular was nothing short of tenacious in his work to solve the problem. Through his and their hard work the impossible was made possible and my 3 sites and 2 email domains are up and running better than ever. I shall be actively recommending webmasters to anyone who'll listen! |

| There are days and there are days, and this was one of *those* days. I was hurriedly shoe-horning a Python test into a day already to filled with too many other tasks and kept getting a 500 error.
C. Schmidt (tactfully) asked one simple question: Had I checked my error log? I hadn't--and I know to! Anyway, I checked the log, googled the error and had the issue fixed within 5 minutes. It's really nice to know that even when one forgets to do something one should have done, it's met with good humor. |

| I can't sing Paul Schultz's praises loudly enough. We have migrated to the new php7 server. Our migration was complicated by the number of sites we have and by the configuration of our directories and files.
I am a full-time volunteer for our non-profit organization, providing state-wide IT support. Because of the demands that would be placed on a volunteer, my IT friends had all advised me to avoid taking on the migration. They have also predicted it would fail. However, because of Paul, I am thrilled to say that my friends were 100% wrong! Consistently, Paul was knowledgeable, kind, patient, responsive, encouraging, and willing to teach me about server-side software as we went along. With Paul's support, the migration was completed with only a few minor issues - all of which were easily resolved. In the current world of IT support, it is unusual for a company to provide the opportunity for a support analyst to truly own the client's support request from beginning to end. Most often, you are handed off to whoever is next up. Paul was there with us every step of the way. Paul is a support ROCKSTAR and I can't say enough about how wonderful he has been to work with. | Service is always good however I have a request. Since you have no shell access we are required to do everything through your control panel. As I'm sure you know this is very tedious. Having shell access would really be great especially for file and database management and especially since your file manager has some serious limitations. The most serious limitation is the way the "copy" function works. It doesn't behave the same as a UNIX or dos copy and will not overwrite files but merely puts a "copy_of" in the directory. For doing upgrades it's useless.
Can I get shell access? If not can you PLEASE fix the copy command in your file manager. Thanks, Ron Curry |

Each problem was very complex and took a lot of skill, knowledge and a desire to go that extra mile to help out a customer in need. She was so helpful, even when she had to explain computers 101 to me so that I could comprehend the troubleshooting, and solutions to my computer support issues.
