| Service is always good however I have a request. Since you have no shell access we are required to do everything through your control panel. As I'm sure you know this is very tedious. Having shell access would really be great especially for file and database management and especially since your file manager has some serious limitations. The most serious limitation is the way the "copy" function works. It doesn't behave the same as a UNIX or dos copy and will not overwrite files but merely puts a "copy_of" in the directory. For doing upgrades it's useless.
Can I get shell access? If not can you PLEASE fix the copy command in your file manager. Thanks, Ron Curry |

Having trawled around a few retail stores and speaking to their technicians, nobody was able to help, including an Apple store! | There should be an option to choose Outstanding Service, excellent just isn't good enough to describe the service here. After working with more than a dozen hosts over 25 years, none have even come close to the customer service & tech support at Webmasters.com. After 18 years of hosting multiple accounts here, I have found that problems are generally resolved within minutes from friendly and knowledgeable support people, and the same people have been here for many years which says a lot about the stability. |
